Hi,

After a lot of research into what replacement second car to buy it has come down to Alfa GTV, Hyundai Coupe or Puma. Puma is strong favourite as long as I can find one with heated screen, air con and no rust.........

Doing the rounds of Autotrader cars on the website and there do seem to be a few rust free ones. Is that actually the case these days? Our last second car was a Cinquecento Sporting and you did get some that were still rust free (sadly not ours in the end)

As for rust particularly bad areas are the rear arches, your likely to get one thats showing some rust here if it isnt maybe its been repaired either well or badly and it might be back. Another crucial area as it attracts many MOT failures is the area where the rear axle bolts to the chassis.
Also check the bottom of the front wings.
