I have some things I would like to get confirmation on.
I have a set of 205/40/17 alloys am going to put on the puma. The offset is et14 so would I be right in saying that they will widen the track by 20mm each corner?
Also can I use mk2 mondeo callipers?

I'm not sure the puma would be very driveable with that offset  , from what I've heard and read about many people experiences on here - the puma doesn't take kindly to varying its standard offset, can't remember which member on here it was but he had tried loads of different types and gave feedback on each, think the conclusion was that sticking to ET34 is best ET25 or 28 was next in line and ET40 was just awful.

Someone else is going to have to let you know if you can fit mondy mk2 calipers, there is a guide in the wiki so I'd say take a look there mate.

Thanks. I did find a guide for the puma where if you want to upgrade to 280mm discs use the mk1/2 mondeo calipers. Just need to drill the mounting points.just thought I'd get a 2nd opinion to confirm.

Hello mate

I've got Mk3 Mondeo calipers & 300mm discs on mine which fit fine (under 17's!) I believe that the Mk 1 & 2's are similar. As you say you just need to drill out the holes slightly.

I hope that helps
Al

Yea perfect cheers. Just wanted to make sure as I have a set of mk1/2 calipers discs and pads I was going to use on my escort but seeing as that will be off the road for a long time will make good use of them on the puma.
