Any Ideas?!

My car for the past month has been having idle/rev issues where, when you are driving and you put your foot on the clutch the revs will start to raise intead of drop?

I initially thought it was a duff TPS, but I have now changed this and although the car feels like it drives slightly better it is still doing the same thing.

It also seems to idle just above 1k and I thought usually it would sit just below 1k? Weird thing is.. If I disconnect the TPS the car idles just below 1 as it should and when I drive it the revs drop when the clutch is pressed down.. Like it should! (Obviously the fuel economy and lumpyness of driving is poor when disconnected)

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Have you checked the Clutch Pedal Switch is secure?:

sounds like broken wire to the PAS pressure sender plug near the drivers wheel
