Aux belt & tensioner?

I bought a Aux belt from Eurocarparts,

ContiTech Drive Belt Part No.: 202441525
&
ContiTech Drive Belt Part No.: 202330315

Why two you may ask, well the one marked for Aircon was shorter than the one without....

I measured it against the old belt and the 'with zircon' one seemed the same but i can not fit it, infect two of us can not fit it - you just physically not pull it over even with tensioner pulled backed!

We easily got the old belt back on so im pretty sure the ContiTech just isn't quite the right size - anyone successfully fitted one??

Also while there i got a idler, seems exactly the same and fits and is much quieter - its marked for a focus 1.6, given my issue with the belt is this the right tensioner???

Why don't you just buy the right one from a ford parts desk? I have bought one from there and........ it fit.

I will do tomorrow when parts desk is open...

I meant more to confirm its wrong or right - i'm taking them back either way!

According to ContiTach's on-line catalogue, it looks like the belt Article No. is 6PK1930 (with A/C) and 6PK1750 (without A/C).
