Battery Light

Hi everyone,

My battery light has started coming on when I start my car in the morning, but if it rev it, its goes off. Also it's started cutting out when on full lock!

I'm going to take it to a garage for a battery check on Saturday, but does anyone have any other ideas what it could be?
