Hello all,

I am going to move my battery to the boot but battery wire is a bastard fortune!

does anyone have any spare that they would consider selling to me?

as this is going from one end of the vehicle to the other it will need to be rather long lengths

Also if anyone else has done this and has any advice then it will be well recieved.

Cheers guys,
Alex

Erm, you only need one length. I bought it too long, then just lopped the end off to make a bit to use for the neutral/ground.
I bought 5m which was enough for the positive to run from the engine bay, through the main loom grommet, through the car to the boot. Also with a lump chopped off to make the neutral/ground. And I think I had about .75m spare.....

I would recommend 5m as a MINIMUM. It's safer to chop a lump off if it's too long, than it is to try and join a bit on if it's too short!

** Also need some crimp terminals.....

** And a pair of battery terminal clamps.....

I spent a total of £21.78 inc. delivery!

** be careful on the battery terminal and lug/terminal sizes... although I got ones sized for my cable, they were actually too big.

Have a look at page 3 on in my project thread. A few pictures there which should help you. Or, any questions, please ask!
