is there a way of converting mk5 boot struts to take the electric connectors thats on my puma's right hand strut as they no longer hold my boot up or can i get away will just replacing the left one

As long as they conduct electricity like the originals, you can just unscrew the ends and spade terminal

Just replacing the left one is enough as the springing force on fiesta ones is substantialy bigger and enough to hold everything on its own
