Carbon Fibre Mirrors - GROUP BUY

Ok people, ive been having some dealings with a compnay are look to expand there product range and also i know alot of you want carbon wing mirrors making up.

So ive sorted it out that if we get 20 people minimum to order a set then they can be made up.

Price is going to be around £65ish but that could come down if we get more than 20 orders, or it might possibly go up depending on how awkward they are to actually make out of carbon.

Right so if you'd like some then add your name so i can update the list and keep track of the orders.

also i must add that there wont be an option of seeing a set of mirrors before you order, the company is one of the largest in the uk and ive had bits off them before and its always been top quality stuff.

Will they be same shape as originals? And electric? Or is this just for the plastic cover part and you retain your original insides?

these will be the covers, same shape....ie the painted bit....you keep everything else....its easy to swap over, a bit fiddly and long winded but def diy. manual or electric there the same....

if it helps i will do a how to guide on how to swap the covers nearer the time as iv rebuilt mine / resprayed them a few times...

now if jay could get the base units (black bit) done in carbon as well.....hint hint!!!!

You probably know this already but the same parts are used on the Mk3.5/4/5 Fiesta and 95on Escort, so you may get some more useful interest from UKFN, ZSOC, etc. and some of the Escort sites.

nope...hes full of it! that aint carbon fibre, that aint even fake carbon fibre its a thin film of printed plastic thats heated and shrunk onto a plastic crappy mirror....i can buy the stuff for school and vacuum form any old stuff with it.....i dont cos its crap!

look closely at the distortion in the 'carbon weave' on tight edges...its the plastic stretching!
