Exhaust mounting Rubber help

My Milltek exhaust hangs a bit low so I bought a polyurethane mounting rubber from pumabuild.com. The problem is the holes are much smaller and I can't get it to fit on the exhaust mount bit. I don't want to grind the end of the exhaust bit so do you think the new mount will be ok if I drill a larger hole?

Have you tried to put lubricant over the end of the hanger and inside the rubber?

I've had to do that before and it slipped on lovely.

Yeah I tried some GT lube but the end cap at the end of the hanger on the milltek exhaust seems way too big for the rubber to go over it.

Have you tried a rubber mallet? :grin:
