exhaust smell inside

I seem to be getting a smell of exhaust fumes inside the cabin , it doesn't smell like petrol it is more like exhaust gas. It is more noticeable when accelerating hard.
Any ideas what could be causing this? Or common issues that cause this?

Your rocker cover gasket may be leaking, a common fault on the Puma. It may be leaking from the back of the head onto the exhaust manifold.
