Hi all! Just a brief one for those who wish to change their wheel studs to compensate for spacers. Firstly do the usual, remove calliper carrier bolts and then cable tie the calliper and carrier together onto the Coil spring or wherever is out of the way, then remove the ABS sensor from the multiplug behind the arch lining (follow the brake pipe up towards the strut top and youll find it),then remove the Lower arm pinch bolt and pry the ball joint away from the hub, then remove the track rod end from the hub, then remove the bolt securing the hub to the strut, after that remove the hub nut (32mm) pull the hub assembly towards you in order to remove the driveshaft, after that you knock the hub downwards until it falls off the strut (but be prepared to catch it !).

PART 2

Now the tricky bit, cover the Wheel bearing circlip on wd40 or duck oil or.chosen lubricant and leave it to soak for 15-20 minutes. After that just touch a screwdriver onto the circlip and gently tap.it with a hammer all the way around. Then use circlip pliars to remove the circlip (may involve wedging a screwdriver in behind at time to pry the clip aswell), once done use a press or your chosen method to remove the hub knuckle upright from the hub flange. Then remove the wheel bearing, then to remove the ABS speed ring from the flange use a chisel and hammer (DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PRESS IT OUT AS IT IS MACHINED AS ONE UNIT), following that knock the old studs out and knock the new studs in. Then I would cut the rest of the bearing left on the flange off and put the new wheel.bearing back in the same way you took.it.off. following that you can press the flange and the hub knuckle upright back. Together (or.knock them back together if you don't have one but beware !) Once done simply assemble in reverse order. Also don't attempt to remove the ABS sensor if it's rusted on you'll do more damage than good!

Part 3

HAVE FUN!
