its only the template and the car isnt used on the road, the proper one will be twice the thickness,
 
i think you need to revisit the shape, follow the contour curve of the bumper more, big is good though as you need a good portion to continue back under the bumper for airflow, ideally youd have the whole bottom solid with a diffuser at the rear, my mates done that with his nova using alu sheets
 
yeah i prefer that one, plan with making it myself is its a dam sight cheaper £9 so far and satisfaction that i made it.
 
Watching this thread with interest, does anyone remember the Top gear episode were they made a splitter out of wood on a renault scenic (i think) an it caught alight?! Was awesome.. :twisted:

I'm sure they made the whole bodykit of wood didn't they?? :lol:
 
I think it was an aventine with a wooden splitter and they had to get it round the track quicker than an evo
 
Bit of a delay on this one, after abit if reshaping its still not finished but after spending the day in the garage there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Yeah straight into a cone filter, the bezel and the pipe is black now so it doesn't stand out as much
