hand brake help

hi all my hand brake is not working rite any more it work but when i try to do a hand brake turn it wont lock up. i no it not the and brake handall as it only go up 3 click and there lots of pads on the shos???? wot can it be :?: :?: :?:

Could be a number of things.
Easiest to check is shoe adjustment. While you are in there make sure the shoes aren't glazed and the drums aren't excessively scored. Next candidate for me would be the cable being seized. Handle mechanism could be broken or partly jammed maybe?

i no it not cable as it holds the car on hill but will have look the dums thanz

If you only know by trying to do handbrake turns it could just be the change in road surface.

Not the best way to determine how good your handbrake is to be honest.

it dont work on any road surface but work ok in the mud lol
