Hi, I need to replace the heater control valve on my 1998 Puma. I've checked the related posts I could find and it seems you need to go for a good quality part if you're not replacing with the more expensive OEM part. My question is which of these manufacturers would be recomended? There are quite a few making this part! I've listed them in ascending price order. Thanks in advance and Happy NY!

-Ridex
-Imperium
-Esen SKV
-Thermotec
-Metalcaucho
-Era
-Fast
-Maxgear
-Quinton Hazell
-Mapco
-Vemo
-STC
-Metzger
-Stark
-Febi Bilsten

After personal experience, I wouldn't risk it. Yes from ford they're £70 but it's better than all the rest out there and if it fails you can take it back to the dealer and have it replaced.
I'm willing to bet that 2/3 of them are the same cheap nasty £10 part off eBay.

One vote for Blueprint, mines been in a couple of years and no issues yet.

Got to be worth the extra money , as you only want to do the job once Jay .
