More stripping tomorrow.

How much flex is in the bootlid now? Was tempted with something similar myself, but was worried it may be too weak and compromise the glass.
Top work though.

Not as bad as i thaught mate, but fitting polly carb soon

But i cut it short where the glass meets to keep the rigidity.

Well last night saw more progress on the car, well in the way of more parts.

Went to Bradford and picked up a Miltec 4-2-1 manifold, decat race tube, front upper strut brace, momo champion steering wheel and boss for £140 :happee: :happee:

Will get some pics soon

And last but not least the beloved proj p sticker :thumbs:

Monster Decals should arrive soon and will be fitted after the respray and cage fitment.

I will have some more up to date pics up soon of the poly carb windows.

Anyone have any ideas on how to sort the rust out on a brake calliper (ie rust treatment without damaging the rubber seals).
Or can the seals be taken off ?

http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/product-BACK-IN-STOCK-Mil-Eliminator-O2-cheater_71.jsp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Has anyone tried this, or is their a cheaper alternative.
Or is it worth bothering with as mines a decat track car so the EM light dont bother me.
Also can not running a post lambda put the car into limp mode?

you shouldnt have needed to remove the shaft to fit that manifold, undoing the bottom engine mount and rocking the engine forward should suffice

STEAVIE Thanks for the advice, Scuba only found that out after i fitted it, DOH!! But cheers anyway.

Well its been a little while since i updated, but a week off has seen my puma near track ready :happee: :happee:
