I'd like to lower the Puma from it's standard height to give it more of a clean stance (very similar to the silver Puma above in the page header), but got a few questions.
Does lowering make for a harder ride? (I find the standard set-up stiff enough).
Is it straightforward enough to change them out?
Should I go for a kit, or separate shocks and springs?
30mm or 40mm lowering, which would look best?
I'd appreciate any views, tips or recommendations.
Cheers

If you go for simply a spring change, then the dampers will still damp the same (albeit over a slightly smaller range) so comfort shouldn't be effected.

It's probably my old car you've seen in the header - the height differences to standard can be seen in the following thread where I measured against a standard one:

Just lowering alone is aesthetic. A combo of springs and dampers is needed for handling upgrades, in my opinion.
