I need to fit some new ball joint boots to pass the MOT.

Going off this post the sizes are about 16mm and 34mm diameters. http://www.projectpuma.com/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=18339" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Would this boot fit ok for sure?

No real point in merely replacing the boot as in reality once you have seperated the ball joint it is not really reusable anyway, might be better just replacing the whole ball joint, doubt if they are that expensive.

Sorry, just realised that the ball joint is part of the wishbone, unless yours has already had bolt on replacements fitted.

Boot should be ok so long as you can split the joint without damage

Thanks for the reply. The garage recommended I just replace the boot as it's easiest thing to do. I'll order them ones from ebay and see how they go.

Cheers
