hi, please help all suggestions/advice welcome.
1999 t reg 1.7 puma silver.
digital dash, when i put on my high beams the blue light on the dash does not illuminate.
any way to check the bulb other than removing the cluster ?
i know they are led bulbs and are soldered in, am i going to have to remove the clocks to test the bulb ?

is it really that important how often do u use high beam anyway as long as ur high beam works

It is quite important - a MOT fail maybe as it can be classed as a 'drivers tell tale' light - ie if you dont know the full beams on - you could be blinding oncoming traffic. Same as a indicator tick tock or a fog light illumination. I would get it fixed - check for a loose wire first then the bulb ;-)

any one changed one of these bulbs? the car is going in for its MOT next week and cant get my high beam light to work..is it worth just swapping the clocks with a set from the scrappy for the MOT and deal with it later???

"The high beam indicator is hardwired directly from the multifunction switch. When the high beam is activated, the indicator illuminates".

I think you will need to remove the cluster .
