Oulton park taster track day meet!

Hey

As afew of us have expressed interest in a north west meet this is what myself and Scotty have come up with.

Basically oulton park is doing a taster trackday on the 5th July. This event is 25 quid and includes a safety briefing, 3 moderate speed laps to get use to the track followed by a 20 minute session which we can do at our own pace

As the date is mid week, (tuesday) we are giving plenty of notice. The safety briefing starts at 3.30pm and we will be all done at 5pm.

This trackday taster is strictly for novice or inexperienced drivers to tracks and we won't be the only cars there. Any car is permitted aslong as it isn't a race car and the noise limit for the day is 105db.

Go on then stick my name down as coming Just out of interest, How old are you guys? Have you done any track days before? Does i need to change anything on my car to 'track spec' or should completley standard be okay for 20 mins track time? :lol:

Hi Tom. Personally I've never been on a track driving. Been round oulton Im a Frp fiesta as passenger.

If your car is road worthy and fluids topped up you shud be perfectly worthy.

The aim for the day is to have some fun, drive to your abilities meet some new friends.

Bugger, is the day of school prizegiving, I would never be forgiven by wife and son if I missed it, temptin tho as I used to race a 400 bhp special GT escort at Oulton and would have enjoyed playing with the FRP there.
