Passenger side door...

Hi all,

Is there any way of opening the passenger door before you unlock using the driver side door?

If the car is locked and I turn the key in the passenger door nothing happens, until I unlock using the driver door.

If you have remote central locking which you should have in some form unless the keys have been lost you should be able to unlock the whole car.

You should also be able to unlock the entire car from the passengers door.

Does the lock mechanism move at all? Have you tried WD40 in the barrel?

Hi,

Just had another test... When the car was fully double locked, I tried turning the key both ways in the passenger door, but to no avail.. All the doors remained locked, until I used key in driver door.

Regarding the mechanism, I wasn't quite sure as to whether it did move or slightly.. And No, I have not tried WD40 in the barell.
