Pop-up aerials

Anyone got one? The standard one seems rather naff so far

Just next to the boot lid. Seems like there'd be enough space for the motor between the side of the boot and the panel

But what would you do about the hole left from the roof aerial?

You could fill it in? it's only a small hole. Loads of 'show' cars have had aerial's moved, about the only thing thats done well on most :roll:

Loads of jap cars have them, my GTO does although it's massive. Maybe look in a local scrappy?.

I might buy a new aerial foot first before drilling a hole in the rear quarter

My Starlet has a pop up aerial on the front (pop up in that you have to do it yourself). Boy it looks stupid.
