That cubbyhole thing. Does that just push into the recess in the floor carpet? Ive always wondered if something was supposed to be there or not.

it has to be cut into the carpet and underlay if not fitted at std

Earlier pumas have them as standard, later pumas have it kind of built into the carpet, it can be fitted easily enough but you will have to cut out the carpet underneath with a stanley blade like i did on my 2002 puma.
