Rear Beam Choices Puma-Ka-Fiesta

I have spent the best part of 2hours doing searches and not found a definitive thread, maybe i'm blind though so please point me in the correct direction if there is :derr:

Are all the beams the same between the KA- sportKA - fiesta mk 4/5/6 - puma?

I know some of the early ones had fork mounts on the suspension and the laters eye mounts, and likewise some of the rear drum sizes are different.

Will a sportka rear beam work as a puma one? I can get one cheaper so its the prefered option!

I keep rearing about spacers?? which beams were spaced as std?

Not a full answer but early Puma rear beams are narrower than later ones and come as standard with 10mm spacers each side. The later Puma rear beams are wider i.e the same width as an earlier puma beam with spacers fitted.
