reversing lights dont work

Noticed the other day that my reversing lights dont work?! got some new bulbs and fitted them but still no light. Does anyone know which fuse /relay deals with them as i presume this has gone.

Hi Johno it could be the switch?

I can't remember how to find it though off hand.

I had this on the Big Cat

I got by, using the hazards to provide (intermittent light) when reversing

Then I backed into a low stone wall and had to spend £150 getting the bodywork repaired.

The fault turned out to be a switch at / in / on the gearbox. Not hideously expensive, wish i'd done it sooner

The switch is on the gearbox just behind the bottom of the radiator.

As Rob says it could be the swith inside the gearbox that completes the circuit when reverse is selected. Not sure where it is though.

Red has it spot on.
Very cheap if you don't go to Ford...lol (Ford charge around £18)
Even easier to replace yourself if the wires aren't ker-nackered like mine were...lol

Well weather permitting the fault will be fixed tomorow lol! Sounds like it's defo the switch so i will start there.
