reving

need some help, my car holds the revs when changing gear and if i put the clutch in it will also hold the revs. if i turn off the car and turn it back on it will be fine. i have clean the ideal control valve but it is the same. this problem is intermitent. sorry about the spelling

That'll probably be the switch on the clutch petal.

Could be the throttle position sensor too.

just tried it and it hasn't played up all good so far.

the car seems to be ok so far i think it has done the trick
