Should I have a fob?

First time Puma owner here, loving it so far!

It's a 99 reg 1.7, but it didn't come with a key fob... but did come with two keys.

Should I have a fob for remote locking/unlocking? Not a big deal or anything just curious.

Yes it should be the three button kind I think.

I believe Wilge bought one for £12 off ebay however you still have to get the blank shaft cut to your car, put the transponder from one of your two keys in the fob and then set up the fob to open your car doors.

Welcome, as above. It probably had the 3 button RF version at some point.

Thanks guys, new fob ordered off eBay for £13. Looks pretty simple to sync up... Fingers crossed!

As you have two keys that start the car you don't need to swap the immobiliser chips, you can use your keys to programme the new one
