Interesting one this. Looked like it was going to be extremly cheesy at the start. It had John Travolta walking down the street with that song '99 problems but the bitch aint one' pounding out, looked like it was trying way to hard to be cool. It did mellow out though and in the end it was a great action film. Much of the films dialoge comes from Travolta and Denzel Washington talking over the radio, this was very well done and Washington is at his best.

Worth a watch, gets the Dradus seal of approval.

I quite like the look of this, was very impressed by Denzel Washington in American Gangster last year.

Saw the re-make yesterday, pretty well sticks to the original - thankfully without Walter Matthau-but the ending is different.

I'd recommend it.
