Hello everyone, forum newb here.
My Mrs has just got herself a puma, nice little 1.6, y reg. Thing is, the removable towing eye is in the glovebox, rattling like a good un. Where did ford intend it to live? I'm assuming it goes in the boot with the jack and wheel brace but can't see anywhere obvious for it to locate.
Any ideas? Anyone?

Ta muchly, Karl...

Hi and welcome. :eek:k:

That's left hand side if my car is anything to go by ;)

It is supposed to fit into a plastic bracket that then slides/clips into the leg of the jack. I'm guessing the bracket has been lost so it's been shoved in the glove box to stop it bouncing around in the back.

Hi there welcome to ProjP :eek:k:

As already said, yes it is supposed to clip onto the jack itself. Personally because i'm always getting mine out for when i take it on track, I keep my towing eye slotted in nice and tight in the groove by the handbrake - fits perfectly. Best place for it i think - that way i know i wont lose it

Thanks guy's, my clippy thing is obviously missing! That's annoying.
Rubber band mod coming on methinks.
