Ok so this was my weekend project, I am not an exhaust expert by any means and persuading it all to fit together was pretty difficult.
If you're doing this I would recommend having some welding skill (I don't - my first time - please don't laugh) and some way of bending exhaust pipe.
The system has no support in the middle so I inserted some longer M8 seat mount bolts and made a strap arrangement between the two seat bolts to support the exhaust and stop it hanging down too low.
Longer term I have some rubber bobbins to attach strap to which should isolate the noise a bit more and allow the exhaust to move relative to floor.
I'm also thinking it would be a good idea to adapt the original catalyst to engine block support bracket so that it holds the bottom of the manifold to the block. Anyone done this?
Having fitted the manifold I've noticed it seems to be freer revving at top end but really I'd like a remap to take advantage and add some crackle. Can anyone offer advice or recommend an expert to help in this area please?
