Wheel sizes

Hi all, what wheel sizes have people fit to their Puma's?

I'm in the market and considering a set of 16's but their ET is only 25 so I'll probably need spacers which will make them pop out from the arches a bit I think. They're also about 8" wide. Anyone have anything similar for me to have a look at before I order any please?

Hi Rudders.
Because the offset figure is lower the wheels will already sit further out than standard wheels.
But at 8" width you will run into all sorts of clearance issues. (suspension, arches, etc)

IIRC he is using 8 inch wide tyres so he could offer some help in that regard

Spacers can only move wheels outward.
Compare 2 wheels with the same diameter and rim width, but one with 34mm (standard Puma wheel) and one with 25mm offset. The inside rim of the 25mm wheel would be 9mm further away from the strut housing and the outside rim 9mm closer to the outside of the wheel-arch, compared with the 34mm (34mm - 25mm = 9mm).
But in your case, there would also be 2 inches difference between the rim widths (8 inches - 6 inches = 2 inches). Taking into account this wider rim width (8 inches) and different offset (25mm), that wheel will move the inside rim 16mm closer to the strut housing and the outside rim 34mm closer to the outside of the wheel-arch, compared with the standard Puma wheel (34mm).

EsCos wheels are 16x8J ET25 and people have fit them before without issue.

TGPlayer1 that's exactly what I was told. The company I ordered them from are going to test on a Puma they have in their staff car park before rubbering them up and sending them to me. They're going to look quite euro though so I'll expect plenty of hate, lol
