So have a judder low down the rev range, put the original airbox back on as told it was the cone that was doing it, but no joy. Next thing to check off is the above. Thinking NGK IX plugs and Magnecor 8mm leads, but I'm not so sure on the coil pack. Can anyone tell me if this would be suitable...

So went to put the original air box back today to see if stock setup cures the judder, but it seems it was dumped when putting the cone on. New one ordered, but in the mean time, should you use a sealant when connecting the induction pipe / MAF / airbox at all? And if so what? Thanks

So when I get the car back with the new back box, I'm gonna throw the standard airbox back in first to check that that solves the judder. If it does then I would consider the FRP airbox mod. But just wondering if anyone has done this without cutting the lower grill and fitting a round port...

Your grand, I'm not an expert in this by any stretch! No feed, just removed the top of the air box and fitting the cone in. Would fitting the feed in make a difference, not getting enough air perhaps?

Had it in today and turns out the exhaust was knackered and was probably rattling a bit. New Sportex ordered :-)
