So have a judder low down the rev range, put the original airbox back on as told it was the cone that was doing it, but no joy.
Next thing to check off is the above.

Thinking NGK IX plugs and Magnecor 8mm leads, but I'm not so sure on the coil pack.
Can anyone tell me if this would be suitable for my 1.7?

I`d look at cleaning out your MAF and throttle body with egr cleaner before you buy any new parts.
new plugs are a good idea (unless they`re already in)
