Reluctantly decided to break my Puma after the last straw.

If you caught up with my project thread, I threw a lot (far too much) money at the Puma only to find a running issue.

I bought a low mileage engine and replace the water pump, thermostat housing, thermostat, genuine cambelt & tensioners, clutch, clutch slave cylinder & plugs all from new. Starts and runs like a dream now, but I went to finish the job to find that there was a sheared part that is essential for the coolant pipes. :(

Also, the lying shit who sold it to me said that it hadn't had an accident (bonnet was misaligned and catching), but I found this on the weekend:

He's also still not sent the logbook off - 7 months later. All in all, I've had enough and I'm not convinced it would pass the MOT that's due next month.

As a result, I'm going to split the car for parts - it just doesn't feel like she wants 'rescuing' now, so I'd rather see other Pumas be treated and renewed. Car is on 86k, but the replacement engine looked ridiculously clean.

I'm selling the majority of the parts (especially new ones) at around half of the price I paid for them, so as much as we all like a bargain, I'm trying to be pretty fair with the pricing.

First up, eye mount coilovers. These are boxed with the manuals (little dirty) and the spanner. They're listed as SportKa fitment, but this is only due to the mountings for the brake pipes; they fit exactly the same (essentially the same car).

The adjustment that's on it now was seriously dropped when I fitted them, so if you want to go for some massive lowering then I'm quite sure that the bottom of the threat would nearly be sills on the floor (couldn't fit trolly jack under with it as it is now).

I've got a set of new droplinks that were fitted and can throw them in for the buyer.

Based on ebay prices and discounting for Puma guys, I'm looking for £200. £SOLD

(using this as a guide http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151302994616" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

Now, some brand new parts:

2 x track rod ends £SOLD
1 x genuine ford Fuel Filter (FoMoCo) £SOLD
2 x genuine ford rear brake shoes (Motorcraft) £SOLD

UPDATED LIST

Will start shifting things on ebay soon, but for now here's a bigger list with updated prices. Click pic links for photos.

I've added postage prices, can get things a bit cheaper for lighter items, but if there's more than one thing in a package then it will cost a little more. Prices are estimates, ask for multiple items as it'll probably be a flat cost between £7-10

Can you clarify if your prices are inclusive of postage or not. :eek:k:

Ah yes...

Currently not as I'd prefer collection, but I prefer to use parcel/courier sites over royal mail to help keep costs low for bigger bits, so cheap delivery can be arranged if required

Hi mate, I will take the fuel filter and track rod ends if thats cool, £10 for both?

Yet again all the good parts are down south from where I live.

Hi. I'm very interested in the coilovers. Could you find out how much it would cost to courier them to Manchester?

Cheers.

Just move down South like I did

There's always postage though, but I'd much prefer people to collect

Courier is approx £15 to £20 to anywhere in UK (mainland), depending on the service.

Have a first in line at the mo, but will let you know if they drop out.

Some extra bits:

Parcel Shelf - £14
nothing to note really, all exactly how it should be; maybe some signs of use if you were being pendantic

Any questions, feel free to ask

How much would would it cost for the Wiper/indicator blade stalk? (I have a 1.7 2001 16. v i should match right)
I definitely want the passengers side door mirror.

How far away from london are you?

I'd like that polished standard gear knob. How much would it be posted (couldn't see if postage was Inc. On phone!)

I live in Chippenham (between Swindon/Bath), so it's still quite far from London.

Stalks should match, I don't think there was a difference in the stalks across the whole run tbf.

At the moment I've been put off posting things; First batch of stuff I sold to fordfreak has been 'misplaced' by Yodel - despite it being insured, it's been an absolute nightmare trying to go through all the steps of sorting that out :(

I would massively prefer collecting in person, but, as a guide, if anyone wants posting, a service like this would be what I'm looking at for smaller bits - lost a lot of faith in the whole pick up courier crap (unless anyone has better ideas)
http://www.collectplus.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So far though, somewhere in the UK is a box with the following sold bits
Coilovers - Sold
Polished £6 Gearknob - Sold
Fuel filter - Sold
Rear Shoes - Sold
Rear Cylinders - Sold
Track Rod Ends - Sold

I'll probably get a big old list of stuff with photos once I've had some sort of success from sorting out the lost delivery - literally couldn't cope if I had two of these occuring at the same time.

are the window weather strips in good nick please?.if so how much posted

Is the indicator stalk in good working order I'm down for the http://www.collectplus.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

I'll take the passenger mirror the, the Wiper and indicator mirror for delivery.

Regards

At that price i will definitely have the CD player.

I can bank transfer the money over. Prefer bank to paypal (hate giving the thieves money).

No problem.

I'll send some details over PM

Quick edit:

Made this video to demonstrate it, don't trust couriers much at all anymore so everything gets photographed, videoed etc.

Yeah works exactly as it should.

To confirm, is that:

Passenger Mirror
Bosch Wiper Blade
Indicator Stalk (assume you mean that, as I don't have a clue what an indicator mirror is?)
