Depending on the dent u could maybe use a hairdryer and tin of compressed air. Theres loadsa videos on youtube of it.

You can get dent pulling kits, but a lot depends on the size and shape.
My personal favorite is to use the aforementioned fu*king tw*ts head, but that does rely on catching them first.

I had some small dents pulled out by one of these dent puller specialists a while back ..... was amazed how good they are , you couldn't see any evidence of a dent being there before. Don't think they can work there magic if the paint is broken or the metal is creased though :-(
