hi after a bit of help im doing a puma project and are unsure weather to leave to 1.7zetec in it or not i want to aim for 200bhp can you get that from a 1.7 (what the cost) or how easy/hard is it put a 1.8zetec or 2.0zetec

Yes you can get 200bhp from the engine, standardyou can push it to 220, after that the injectors arent good enough. After 240 you need forged internals.
But you can achieve it with less than £1000 with second hand materials or £5000 with lots of goodies.

1.8, 2.0 will need things like new mounts etc, driveshafts.... costly

Have a look at what others do. A search brings alot of information...

No thats for in excess of 200, to get to the 200 you'll need to think about a turbo or ITB's

ive been searching high and low for a turbo package but cant find anywhere ofs im looks in the wrong place, do you no anywhere where they sell them

Lightning Motorsport do them... but people build them themselves... wouldn't it be so easy if you could just buy a kit for everything....
