Engraved gear knobs

I want one of them knobs engraved but i thought it would be a bit tacky to do that... What do we think, its about £45 to get it engraved. It looks exactly like Dal's/Cherie's but instead of the number with whatever you want engraved...

My Cherie's knob was one of the 1500 presented to the first 1500 owners who attended a track day hosted by Ford, so it's more a collectors thing than a show off thing. Bit less tacky when there's meaning behind it.

Dink, look for a guy on ebay called 'engraveit2008' or something (possibly lose the 'e'). He sells tax disc holders, but he must have the laser as he can do any logo you want. He has the official puma logo but he cant put in on ebay. Worth sending him a email and seeing if he will engrave your gearknob. £45 seems very high, the tax disc holders are only £15 delivered, and that includes paying for the holder itself.
