Ok, update time :)

I'm happy to report that the ford fair 2014 trip was a grate sucsess, not only did we have a grate time, nut we got to meet a lot of you guys, and that was wprth the entire trip for me :)

Special thanx to Aaron for bringing along my New seats :) althoug i must say they are not quite as comfy as my recaros, they look so good, they are Worth it :)

And a big thank you to Robert for giving me a copy of the inside storry :) it was a good Reed :)

Now, as some of you may know, we had some issues going home..

It turns out, that there had been a hole in the inner cv boot on the right hand side, thus had emptied the boot, and overheated the cv joint.. that paired whit the total failiour of the driveshaft suport bearimg, made for some terrible vibrations, enough to kil the flexi pipe i had fitted to the exhaust....

Luckely i had a spare cv joimt, and bearing in my draver at work (sorry Wild e i forgot to check the nr... again) so this was sorted easely.

The exhauat however is a different issue, i had got a New flex and some special claps to put it in whitout weldimg it, but it turns out there is no Space. I wil have a talk whit a local exhaust specialist and se if they can weld inn the New flex whit the exhaust on the car, imrealy don't want to take it off...

Could you be more specific in comparison of recaros and sparcos? I have recaros and they look good, but I find the lateral support wanting; I slide in the seats. I am still on verge of redoing them in alcantara/leather combo to adress that sliding issue, but would still like sparcos in my puma, hence the asking!

PS. No sweat over that finis, you'll do it when you find the time and remember to do it!

Wel, the sparcos hold me better for shure, but they are more sporty, so you wouod expect them to, but beeing sporty they are thinner, and have less cushoning material, and are generaly harder all over, hence less comfy to sitt in.

The recaros i had were caled spesialist L they had feneraly good suport all round, but not quite as much as the sparcos, but they have more cushoning, wich makes them more comfy to sitt in, especialy over time. We just drove 3200km in them, and apart from being tyerd from driving all day, Our bodeys were not tyerd from sittimg in them. I can't imagien it would be the same storry in the sparcos.

But the sparcos look realy good, they suit the car nicely, amd hold you werry wel in Your seat.. it's a toss up realy, and the only way to desice is to, do a pros and con list :)

For me the sparcos win on acount they are original, and they look better then the recaros. But for just driving around, the recaros are defenetly the better choise..

Hi guys, did something I wish I had not done today. I had a look under the car because my exaust leak fix was leaking a bit, and I noticed some bulging on the sills..... you know where this is goimg right??? Yes you are right, the dreader rot has taken hold of both my sills, not so much n the right, but plenty on the left. It's stil solid, but oh so soft.

Now I'm sittig here wondering if I should fix it, or fimd a New bodyshell from a german car or something, where they don't use quite as much salt as they do here.....

I'l have a talk whit the bodey work Department tomorrow, maby they can just weld inn some New sheet metal :)

Jay :) good news!!

Spoke to the guys in the body shop today, and one of them agreed to help me repair my sills :)

hopefully he doesn't have to cut to farr back innto the plastic rear arches.... althoug I do want to replace them whit something stronger, I had not planed on doing it quite yet :)

I will :) I'we found some replasement materials, but I have not been able to get a time for when they can fix it yet.. hopefully it wil be done sooner,,rather then later :)

ok, uppdate :) rotten sills ar now beeing replaced, doing the left one today, and the right one some other day, probabvly next thursday :) wil post pics :)

One side done, wil have it painted as soon as the bodey protector coat has had some time to dry :)

Long time, no post :/

Been worry busy whit baby stuff and such :)

But I've still had some time to fettle whit 138 :)

yesterday I refitted my poly bushes to my "new" rear axel :) fitted a new lambda probe, and plugged a leak in my exhaust, winch I re welded a few weeks ago :)

But as seems to be the case every time I have a look, I found some more rust :( on the underside, just next to where the rear axel mounts to the floor, the sills have a 10 cm hole on both sides. And a small hole in the inner arch under the rear arch liner

BAHHHH, I don't have time for all this... I'm thinking more, and more of selling it just so it can have the care it deserves... but I don't want to....

Got myself a pair of electric mirrors, haven't fitted them yet, the paint job I had given them wasn't good enough, so I had to do it again, will fit them asap.

Oooo, it feels like its been an age since i've posted here now.

Hope you guys dont think i've abandaned you :)

I miss you all, but Our baby girl is prioraty one at the moment :)

Well, here is how it is at the moment, puma has ben put in storrage for the Winter, and the plates has been turned in to the dmv. They wil probably stay there for a while, i need to fix some rust on the innside of the sills just NeXT to the rear Axel Mounts.

Need to Source a propper "original" frp stainless steel mid and rear section (exhaust ofxourse)

Need to fetch my original frp rear bumper from Simon who is so cindly storing it for me.

Need to figure out whats wrong whit the engine, it has a Power dipp aroumd 2000 -4000 rpm when hot, but not Cold. Hopefully its only "bad oil" maby its the cvt controler...

And assorted otther smal Things, i want it to be Perfect, as im aiming at going to ford fair With you guys again in 2017

I hopw i can find the time...... :)
