Im thinking of getting an induction kit but im wondering where this connection goes once youve put the induction kit on :

I have a 1.6 by the way.

Thanks !
Dean

i think some 1.6 specific kits have a place to put that, if not you might have to try drilling the air tube and fitting it that way

Is that an electrical connection or the breather pipe?
If its just a breather you can either drill a hole in the induction cone and use a hose connector or just put an aux filter on it.
If its electrical what does it do inside the cover?

Iv found this of another 1.6 puma with an aftermarket filter..

My money would be on an air temperature sensor, theres nothing else that it could be, although id have thought it should have another temp sensor on the inlet manifold thats more accurate, a lot can happen to the air between the filter and inlet manifold.
