Hi all.
Recently been asked to repaint 3 bumper trims from an Overfinch RangeRover Vogue.

Easy job, or so I thought. They are plastic coated in tin, which has gone a bit shitty looking. Hence the reason for repainting.

So I just wondered if anyone has come across this before and what might be the best way to remove it. I hit one of them with 180 grit in the sand blasting tank but that just makes it bubble up and needs peeling off (PITA!)

Thanks in advance,

Rob.

I think( as a serial bodger/cheapskate) I would look at sanding them as they are, quick, thin layer of good quality filler/stopper, sand it to good finish then spray.

Yeah, I did consider that Zinc but Since the guy has just parted with 30k and change for the car I'm not sure I would get away with it
