Engine out, suspension swapped. More LHD > RHD issues to add to the list (power steering pipes).

Lots of annoying jobs have been done; changing the broken engine mount, cutting the dashboard, cutting down the doors to fit slim doorcards that fit with the cage etc. Now working out where all the brake / fuel lines, handbrakes, brake bias will fit round the seat & belt mounts, extinguishers etc

Any idea what events you fancy? I wouldnt mind a sneaky look around the car for a few ideas for my build. I will be out on the Jack Frost and the North West Stages.

Going to work up to gravel gradually. Starting off using track days / track hire for testing, then an SV or two. May do the Rally For Heroes tarmac MV in April. Nothing planned beyond that at the mo. Give me a shout if you get down to London, though.

I didnt realise you where based so far south, i usually only get to do northern sv's and the likes of otterburn etc. I need to get a ride in the woods but i pay half/full entry with my regular driver, then im building my own car so the extra cost of gravel events put them out of reach at the min.

Dan's extended the LHD wiring loom with bits from the later RHD one. Not bound up yet until we know we've traced any glitches:

A quick update...

After his trip to Oz and recovery time from an emergency appendix op (!) Dan seems to have got all the wiring working and is off up to Proflex with FRP struts and hubs in one hand and my Proflex struts and standard hubs in the other, so they can make and weld adaptors to fit the latter with the geometry of the former. It's a long lead time, but not much I can do to change it.

In the meantime, I scrapped the old shell
