throttle bodies and standard ecu

i have been searching all evening, having found a post from phil185 saying that a 1.7 can be run on throttle bodies without the maf and using the standard ecu.

i cant find any more details on this though.

i have a 1.7 vvt engine in a mk 1 fiesta, i have purchased a racing puma exhaust manifold and free flow exhaust, along with gsxr 1000 throttle bodies.

i dont want the expense and hassle of an aftermarket ecu, and am not interested in wringing the last hp out of the setup, i just want a driveable car.

can anyone advise me on how to set the car up with the standard ecu to allow it to run on the itb's?
