What is the paint code for red paint

How do I find out my paint code? All I know is it's red, but which red?

Paint code should be on the plate on the bonnet slam panel?

It says P Y, after a quick look on Google I've ended up at 'radiant red'

There were two reds.

P is Radiant Red - solid colour, no lacquer.

The later red was Colarado which was metallic and lacquered.
