Hi,
I'm in the middle of fitting a pair of new Piper FRP cams to my 1.7 and I've hit an issue.
I'm not able to get the FRP timing tool into notches at the end of the camshafts. It's almost as is the tool is a little too thick.
In the attached pictures you can see the issue i'm having.
Has anyone else come across this?
The cams are torqued down and rotate ok.
Is there anyone on Merseyside who I could borrow a FRP tool from for a couple of days? I'll cross your palm with silver.
Thanks,
Ben.
