The bolts are not included but can be bought directly from Ford, it is as above essential that they are 10.9 grade.

ALL

If anyone would like to swap a set of spacers for either a set of FRP floor mats or some original Alcantara (enough to do a steering wheel and seat base) then I would be happy to take this as payment.

Dunno if this will help anyone buying a set but I found these fixings. Granted they are setscrews and not bolts (i.e. they have a full thread) but I believe they are the correct size, length and grade going by previous posts. Was just a quick search so may even be cheaper elsewhere, but not a bad price anyway - plus you get the Nylocs as a bonus...lol.

I would have a set of these spacers myself but am unclear if I need a new set of ABS sensors with mine being a standard Puma and whether it helps or worsens the handling.

Anyway - here's the setscrews for an idea of what's out there:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260773101335" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Guys,

Be very wary of buying bolts off ebay, ford have no idea either as they were FRP specific try someone like

http://www.brocol.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in Coventry they are a proper engineering supplier and you can guarantee a 10.9 is a 10.9.

originals with 20mm spacers are M10x50mm 10.9 grade so for the 30mm spacers you should need M10x60 10.9 grade.

When I got mine from Ford I'm sure the guy at the parts desk said they were originally used in an Escort or Mondeo engine or something bizzare like that.

Yppie raises a good point that needs mentioning, on a standard puma you will not get the one side ABS sensor to fit, it coems out at angle around the back of the spacer.

As mentioned i only just managed to get it to fit in a 20.5mm spacer and that was incredibly tight and on the verge of snapping the plastic sensor casing if it was any deeper.
