For anyone who fancies a once-a-month Sunday morning outing in beautiful countryside, with breakfast, and a meeting with other Puma, classic car, and sports car owners, I can recommend the following.

The Midland Automobile Club's (MAC) “Breakfast Club” is held once a month, between February and October, at the historic Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb in the Teme Valley on the outskirts of Worcester, and is open to all. Whether you are a car enthusiast, a member of a motor club, or simply motor-sport mad, Shelsley is a wonderful place to meet. As well as seeing a wide variety of visitors cars of all types, you can also have a look at the restored water mill in action, walk the hill, and enjoy the view.

There is no entry fee, the gates open at 9am and close at 12pm with breakfast served in the restaurant at a decent price.

However, if you wish to attend, the MAC ask that you please register (link http://www.shelsley-walsh.co.uk/events/Breakfast%20Club/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), as this gives them an idea of how many to cater for, and how many cars of what type to expect.

All interesting/old/classic/expensive/sports cars will normally be parked, on show, in the Shelsley paddock area.

In 2015, the “Breakfast Club” dates are :- 8th February, 8th March, 12th April, 10th May, 14th June, 12th July, 9th August, 6th September, and 11th October.
