Fitted these today without much hassle, undone both drop links and the front 10mm bolt and with a bit of fiddling replaced both arb's, took an hour and a bit from start to fin ish, also cleaned a bit of the engine bay and cleaned out k&n panel filter :)

Thanks :) next job on my list for next month is to fit the helper springs to my coilovers as i was a coilover novice and a cowboy ex-friend of mine fitted them said "you don't need helper springs they are gay"
My coilovers dont like bumps in the road.
I will be fitting new top rubber mounts at the same time so then every part of my cars bushes/suspension will be new :)

Oh, this is very good for me because i found my retaining springs the other day but i was buggered if i could remember how they went on!! I will whip them on some point soon.

looking tidy!

Fitted some new quad led 501 fitment sidelights yesterday, besst sidelight bulbs ever! Sorry about the glare in thr picture they are super ice white

yeah they are not bad, a 5p sized hole in drivers bolster and scuffy like wear on both seat bolsters but asides from that they are good condition. not bad for how much i paid.... :p

little update, i was wondering why the new recaro drivers seat did not raise or lower down, i could hear the switch working but nothing happened, could hear the motor trying to move, so took the seat out and a lot of rubber malleting to the underside of the seat as i think it may have been jammed, i managed to move it but the motor still was not working properly.
sooo i molested my old drivers seat for the raise/lower motor and swapped it for the one in the recaro, now the seat goes up and down :D
Also contacted a car seat retrimmer to see about getting the front seats looking like new... watch this space for now as its quite a few ££

Many other small mods but just seeing what people think of- value wise.

Low mileage and history is good for about £1k, maybe £1.2k if you're lucky. Granted there's not that many low mileage ones around, but don't be tempted to try and put it up for dealer prices. Modifications don't mean anything when you come to sell a car. Maybe someone will like what you've done to it, and offer a few £100 more than the going rate, but most likely you'll put off potentional buyers. If you want to make some money back, put it back to as near standard as you can, and sell the rest seperately.

I did this when I sold a modified Civic Type R many moons ago. I put on the forums what I had and what standard parts I needed in return, you'd be surprised how readily folks jump at the chance to swap their standard bits plus cash for modified bits. It then opens a lot more potential buyers as a standard car.

Certainly the wheels, brakes, coilovers etc will make you some money back.

Thanks for the responses, they are both true to a degree, however it is not always the case with good modified cars, i sold my last heavily modified puma with 79k exhaust system, bucket seats, lowered etc for £1900, the buyer saved lots of money as the mods i had done are what he wanted.

Maybe, but you're severely limiting your customer base. If your car was unmodified and on for around £1200, I'd most likely be scrabbling about for the cash for it right now (you could have the white wheels back as I have the originals already  ).

You'd then have a mountain of upgrades to sell for a healthy amount. You'd probably get up and over the price you're asking now.
