to clarify the electrics are electric adjustable its just for the electric motor mech at the back as the manuals go all floppy. The electrics are more rigid and hold the glass in place better

did a bit more work on it today, bracketed the part underneath the car with a right angle strip, then joined it to two tie rod type supports all made out of alu

still got the next piece to make but need to order some more alu for that

if you dont like it dont care lol

Certainly starting to come together more. Is it flush with the rear bumper or does it stick out?
I would go a different way for the diffuser, but I like it!! What are you using to put around these edges? You have used it on a few things?

Mac

its fairly close, but the exhaust tip is double skinned so i dont think it will get hot enough, dunno might do, its only a cheap bit of trim though lol

I'm impressed, I think it looks good, & functional too. Have you got any pics of it square on from the side? I think the only thing I'd bro different is if it comes down square, I'd angle it back a little, it would still be as functional, but less intrusive. I think it would suit the car too.

Dude.. i remove what i said lol At the begining i was like " That Will not suit the car " but the finished produt come up really good!!
Good job once mate

i love that! you really dont mess around when it comes to getting these jobs done, takes me about 3 months to decide to do anything!

really does look well on the car, i want one for mine now, wanna make me one?

got the next part of this diffuser done

marked out alu

will look at improving the design and/or extending it after its had a session or two

these turned up

right ball ache to fit, wouldnt really recommend them to anyone really, especially fitting them to a puma, thought the holes were going to take the most time but the fuckers didnt have enough clearance underneath and just hit the slam panel and pushed them out, ended up having to beat a small dent into the slam panel and trim some off the bottom of the catches, maybe because i fitted them that way round but i had to otherwise holes from the original bonnet pins would have been there.

Then the small attachment bolts they supply arent long enough to go right through the bonnet so having to order some more on ebay, nice.

Also managed to slip with the dremel and put a nice buffer type mark down down the bonnet, good job its not a show car really

managed to get one fitted, kinda

IMAG1166.jpg

Leading edge mainly, block of wood and a mallet hammered a nice flat dent into the slam panel sorted it

not sure tbh i think it would catch on any part of the slam panel

the only way i can see it might not is fit them the exact opposite way round i have, still be close though
