Ahh the old dusk shot (money shot) fillth absolute filth, gratuitous porn, you should be ashamed of yo self :hide: :hide:

A welcome distraction from getting off my arse to get the suspension done.

I was offered a very nice Sony stereo from evilrob (a bloody nice chap by the way). He was down this way and kindly dropped it off yesterday. It's a Sony BTU 3600 for those that give a monkeys about head units and very nice it is too!

I'd ordered the Ford fascia adapter last week so after a quick trip to Halfords for a new head unit loom (£13 quid online and collect, over £25 if you just go into the shop - madness) and an ISO to Ford wiring adapter, I had a pleasant 20 mins tonight fitting it to the car; very simple with the Ford kit!

Suprised that even the rubbish standard speakers sound pretty good through this unit. However, I've had a little Blaupunkt powered sub sitting around in the garage for years now, so it should sound better still once I've fitted that too!

Forgotten just how much fun car audio is!

Cheers evilrob for the stereo!

I did wonder whether he'd turn up with an old shoe box with 'Sony' crudely painted on the front and some off-cuts of wires poking out of it and insist that it was legit!

He didn't.

But I'm sure I did hear 'Mwahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!' as he wandered off down the road...

It's not too shabby is it? Glad you're pleased with it!

Was nice to meet you and Jegger! Wish I'd turned up earlier so I could appreciate the paint job. Next time! :-D

Whoops, well that was a rookie error with the model number!!

Yes very pleased with it Rob, other than the voice activation calling pretty much anyone it likes in my phone book however regardless of how carefully you speak! I've never used one that has remotely worked though. It's a cracking unit!

Next time you're down we'll sort out something involving alcohol (bottles of wine with faces on them of course  ).

I'm doing voluntary quality naughty step time, its nice and quiet here, and if I look up there's ladies coming down them :-D
