    suspension woes

I'm sure the standard rear shock/spring set up has 2 circlips. Maybe I'm wrong or its different with a non standard set up?

    suspension woes

There is two circlips fitted to that rear shock assembly I take it? Could The mount be jammed on the lower clip? Stopping the mount from going to the top?

    Black diamond braided hoses

They aren't the best I must admit. With the fronts you have to un clamp the original rubber hose from the shock bracket and re clamp the braided one and mess about with the spring that prevents the hose rubbing on the inner arch. You don't re use the little u clamp to secure the hose to the...

    Black diamond braided hoses

Managed to sort out the issue with the bracket. Had to squeeze it flat to allow enough of the thread to show through in order to fully tighten the copper brake line to it. Not sure how to go about the fronts? The original hoses have a clamp which bolts to the shock but these braided hoses don't...

    Black diamond braided hoses

Hi I need some help. I am fitting new black diamond hoses to my Puma and I'm having trouble figuring out how to secure the hose in the bracket that's mounted to the wheel arch. It fits fine wheel cylinder end and the pipe end but I can't get it to clamp in the bracket. I thought that they were...

    206 arch

Hi guys. I need a 206 nsf wing for my OSR puma arch. Can I order any 206 wing or does it have to be a specific one? Most car part suppliers tend to ask for vin or reg details so they can pull up the correct part. ( in this case would be the details of the 206.) Obviously I haven't got those...

Sounds like running on 3 cylinders...?

You replaced rear axle bushes, outer cv boot, removed the fuel tank, carried out welding but paid Ford £195 for a service? !

    Inner arch panel

My mistake. I meant the OSR arch. The camera is in the wheel arch area pointing towards the front of the car. The corrosion is where the outer arch used to wrap around the inner arch/tub.

    Inner arch panel

I've got the usual NSR corroded outer wheel arch. But after removing the arch trim I found the inner arch panel is also corroded. Would this be part of the outer arch repair or an extra job on top? Anyone else had corrosion here too?

    floorpan/ chassis rust proofing

That help thanks. On that first photo - that is how I found it. I haven't done any prep , the brake hose bracket almost fell off undoing the brake pipe!. I'm welding before treating any surface corrosion then tackling as much as poss. Good point on waxing. It's too cold at the mo and the car is...

    floorpan/ chassis rust proofing

Yep will do. The interior is fully stripped and ready for repairs and treatment too. It's gonna be a long process with only weekends to do it until the lighter evenings are back. The more I strip the more rust I find. Poor puma!

    floorpan/ chassis rust proofing

That looks good for the rusty areas so will look into that or dinatrol which looks similar. What could I use for the non rusty sections? Rough the surface and paint/ stonechip?

Fine when cold, but misfire when hot

Could be a leaky injector. Take the fuel rail off with the injectors attached and prime the fuel pump with ignition 2. Don't start it for gods sake. If you get any fuel dribble out of an injector replace it.

    floorpan/ chassis rust proofing

Hi Guys Need a bit of advice on the process/products to use when treating the underside of my puma. I have stripped the spare wheel, rear axle, fuel tank, exhaust and heatshields. Questions I have are what process/products to use on the painted sections (boot floor, above fuel tank and exhaust...

Yep I mentioned that. Two holes welded this weekend then find two more! Anyone had corrosion like that in this area?

Got the fuel pump in and it runs nicely. Welded up the two holes in the floor pan. Found new corrosion holes too! OSR inner seal near the handbrake cable attachment and a horrible looking one behind the OSR wheel arch carpet.

    mould on headlining

Hi. my car sat for a while and went a bit furry. Best stuff to use that will kill the mould spores and not ruin any material is white vinegar. You can get a spray bottle in wilkos. It stinks for a while but works a treat
