    Roof Rack for Sale

Here's a picture of it. Good working order, can be deconstructed from this state into single struts but it's set up and ready to go on the roof as it is.

    Roof Rack for Sale

Hi All, I've just scrapped my second Puma and now have my roof rack left over. It's the mont blanc one. Looking for £50 collected from Bedworth, just north of Coventry.

Hi, is the exhaust any good?

I'm quite interested also in what cells you've selected?

    Brakes cack after pad change

Did you fit new discs and pads then or new pads to the old discs? Never trust Kwik Fit for a diagnosis, they'll always find something to charge you for or that you need doing. How long have you given the pads to bed in? Most decent pads come with instructions on correct bedding procedures...

"Friday" R99 JRW - Very Picture Heavy

Alu plates are certainly the best price/weight ratio. I recently replaced the floor of my other car with all new sheets, didn't come to much and it was a couple of square metres! Knock up some cardboard templates and see how much you need, then play the puzzle game and try to fit everything you...

"Friday" R99 JRW - Very Picture Heavy

To cover the holes left behind the door cards and potentially mount the speakers, you could use some aluminium sheet and rivet or bond it around the edges. If your budget will stretch to it, you could go for carbon fibre sheet. You could use some dynamat superlite on the rear of the panels to...

    My Puma.. Maximum Track Attack!!

It's funny, I owned a Mk1 RS for 11 months and I can't say I had any more fun in it than my puma. Maybe I'd feel differently if I had one again but it just did everything a bit too well. It wasn't challenging to go fast, it just did. I guess there's a certain appeal to thrashing the living...

    Project Silver, PIC HEAVY

Ok, cool. Maybe you track people could organise one together so I could come have a look? I'm itching to get my other car on track but I've got too much going on in June so July could work quite well.

    Project Silver, PIC HEAVY

Got to say I'm loving these little track puma projects on here. Admittedly at first I thought "wow, what a shame, that car looked so clean" but having read through about what you've actually done it seems like a really cool project. Have you actually weighed the car or is your <850kg figure an...

    My Puma.. Maximum Track Attack!!

It's not so much the cage, it's general chassis stiffness and the fact that a cage would accomplish that very well on a Puma. The Puma is 14 years old now, and chassis design has come on in leaps and bounds since then. I'd imagine you wouldn't see as much of a benefit in a newer car. Chassis...

    My Puma.. Maximum Track Attack!!

Sounds like extra weight for no gain to me. I think it needs a proper welded roll cage :D

Nice wheels, where did you get them? ;)

15's or 17's on the track car?

On something as small and light as the puma, if you can fit decent brakes under 15s then fit 15s. The green one for instance on 17s felt quite a bit slower than my little shed on 14s! All the Rent4Ring Suzuki Swifts are on 15s.
